What better way to brighten up a Monday than with a little dose of Eddie Redmayne? The new trailer for the Potter series spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find them is finally here and it's getting us all kinds of excited.

The trailer shows Oscar winner Redmayne, who plays Hogwarts student before Harry's time, Newt Scamander, arriving in New York with a mystical suitcase.

Scamander becomes the 'author' of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which decades later is used as one of Harry's schoolbooks at Hogwarts.

The movie explores New York's secret community of witches and wizards in the 1920s

We also got their our first glimpse of Colin Farrell as the wizard Percival Graves in the new teaser.

Twitter was understandably overwhelmed; the magical Harry Potter theme song that can be heard towards the end of the trailer was enough to tug at the heartstrings of Potterheads everywhere:

Fantastic Beasts reaches cinemas in November, also starring Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton and Jon Voight.

It seems that J.K. Rowling is following the path of Peter Jackson who directed The Lord of the Rings and then continued on with the sequel with another successful trilogy The Hobbit, which was also a hit. Anxiously waiting for J.K.'s new adventure.

@AXH ... J.K.Rowling is author and Peter Jackson is director. Wrong comparison. Hobbit was written before Lord of the Rings. It was Peter Jackson who decided to direct LOR before Hobitt.
