Could it be? Fawad rumoured to star with Deepika in next Bolly flick

Kapoor & Sons was quite the treat for fans of Fawad Khan, but that legion seems to be quite insatiable. They're already looking forward to the actor's next Bolly flick.

Rumour has it that Fawad has snapped up his next major role - it's a Karan Johar production, and it will star Deepika Padukone too. Talk about a dream cast!

While Karan Johar has openly said that he will soon work with Deepika during one of his weekly Koffee with Karan chats, the hope that Fawad Khan will be cast in the same film is buoyed by KJo's effuse praise for the Pakistani heartthrob.

After all, KJo's roped in Fawad for a small but significant role in his directorial comeback, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. Fans hope that this partnership is only getting started, and KJo's new favourite boy lands a big role in his future film with Deepika.

Deepika is sitting on the top in Bollywood. She wouldn't risk her career by starring against an unknown entrant from Pakistan.

@Amrita if Deepika is that good it wouldnt matter who she works with. FYI Bollywood needs Fawad Khan not the other way round. Pakistani Cinema is improving I am sure Fawad will do much better in his own country than Bollywood.

@Aamer Bollywood needs Fawad, he is getting big money to do the acting, which he can never get in Pakistan, and who would want to choose Pakistan over India for a career?

If the money is right why not . Actors don't care about anything else other than money . The might flop but it will bring no harm to Deepika's popularity .

@radiohead_India - Just curious. In a population of over 1 billion people, why does Bollywood still need to rope in Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar, Rahat Fateh, Shafqat Amanat Ali or Mahira Khan from a much smaller neighbor? Shouldn't they be able to find these people in India?
