Is that your final answer? Kareena Kapoor says she's "not doing any Pakistani film"

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan beauty was rumoured to be considering a role in Shoaib Mansoor's next film

Looks like we finally have our answer, folks: Kareena Kapoor won't be acting in Shoaib Mansoor's next film after all.

Last year, the grapevine was abuzz with the rumour that Shoaib Mansoor has sent Kareena Kapoor the script of his next film, and the Bajrangi Bhaijaan beauty is considering a major role.

Shoaib Mansoor's earlier films Khuda Ke Liye and Bol were well-received by Indian critics and box office alike, so it was said that Kareena will take the opportunity seriously.

However, Kareena put those rumours at rest when she was asked about working in a Pakistani film at the TOIFA red carpet in Dubai.

According to India.com, Kareena said, “That’s not true. I am not doing any Pakistani film.”

The actress will be next seen in R Balki’s Ki & Ka opposite Arjun Kapoor, which hits screens on April 1.

Kareena said she was glad to be part of a film where a woman is shown more ambitious than her husband.

“The women are leading the world today in every sphere. Ki & Ka shows that and I am hopeful people will love the movie.”

How can Kareena accept to work in Pakistan movie when her husband has been rightly blacklisted for using insulting words for Pakistan. The shadow of her husband 's negativity will over shadow her performance.

Why is it that Indians have self-respect, but our actors and actresses run to Bollywood at the first opportunity? why, dont we have a film industry here or what?

No one really asked her, but now days in India everyone tries to link themselves to Pakistan.it seems they are in awe of Pakistan, they envy it. So her PR had this put to her as a false flag for media coverage. Her husband makes anti pakistan movies.

After 16 years as heroine and at 36 years of age, she is already pass her prime. Good for her to act in mature married lady roles than anything as sweet 16.

She's a smart actress, and will never act in any Pakistani film, the main reason is political oriented, like her husband she won't herself to be criticized on this,or that, and unnecessarily be a topic in media. Some say it's a money,no money is not an issue, she had been accepting lesser money in some films according to time & script.Shoib Mansoor should forget Kareena or any other Indian actress, and try to find an actress within Pakistan.I am sure it's no big deal.

@Abdulla Hussain For your kind information sir, this lady has already worked in many Pakistani commercials the most famous of them is a mobile brand and a lawn. Whatever her husband has said has nto impacted in anyway her working in the commercials and the popularity of these products.

Pakistan never invites indian actors to act in their dramas because they don't want to bring the reputation of pakistani dramas down.

Good for her. Pakistani Film, TV and theater artists are highly talented, many having been professionally educated and trained and have done creditable work minus song-and-dance routines. There are few of the likes of Sania Sayeed, Atiqa Odho, Saba Hameed or Khalida Riyasat this side of the border. So- it is no great loss.
