How Fawad and Siddharth bonded over cricket on the sets of Kapoor & Sons
A large chunk of Shakun Batra's Kapoor & Sons was shot in Conoor, a hill station in India. And since there wasn't much to do there, what did actors Fawad Khan and Siddharth Malhotra do in their free time Played cricket, of course!
In fact, Malhotra says, "The crew's played a lot of cricket, we haven't worked much!"
We know things can get heated up between Pakistanis and Indians when it comes to this particular sport and this were no different: here's a video of the two of them engaging in friendly banter over who was the king of the pitch.
At one point, Fawad calls Siddharth a cry baby whereas Siddharth makes fun of Fawad for being too uptight while playing street cricket.
According to the trailer, the boys may be involved in a love triangle with Alia Bhatt and while that's all well and good, their bromance is what we're going to have our eye on when the movie comes out!
Kapoor & Sons is an endearing family drama/comedy; the plot revolves around Rahul and Arjun Kapoor, two estranged brothers, who are forced to return to their childhood home when their grandfather gets a heart attack.
The movie is slated for release on March 18.
