Listen up, ladies: if the winter chill doesn't put a damper on your social schedule, your wardrobe will soon be in need of an instant update.

Look no further than Gul Ahmed's Winter Collection 2015 to deck up for this season's soirees.

The new collection includes the luxurious Silk Velvet line – a 100% pure silk collection with a plethora of pretty, feminine floral motifs running over a rich backdrop of dark hues.

Roses bloom against ivory black, leafy vines climb up in a sea of deep blue and florets unfurl on a chocolate brown base, giving the line a regal look.

"While remaining affordable, the high quality silk ensures that the Silk Velvet collection is shinier, softer, and has great depth in its vivid colors." a Gul Ahmed spokesperson shared.

Here's a peek at the Silk Velvet line!

Dark hues: crimson red, dark lavender, ivory black and deep blue give the collection a royal touch.

The Silk Velvet line is available at all Gul Ahmed stores nationwide and online.

Quite unique design wear from Gul Ahmed, silk velvet and pure silk chiffon are my two winning materials above all! Would really like to see some designs which are a little less busy though, perhaps some emphasis on geometric designs as well with monotones.

@AYZA Agree. Wayy busy. Needs to be a little more modern/geometrical. But I guess this works for a mass market but they should cater to all of the market really...

Is it an ad? How much Gul Ahmed may have paid for it?

Too much designs/motifs/works makes clothes look cluttered. There seems than no "flow" to the cloth. Awaiting positive comments to check if my assumptions are right.

@KM3 I think any negative comments feels like a streak of jealousy. This is what you call quality design!
