But before the speculations could evolve, Anushka Sharma'a publicist stated that all such rumours were baseless, reported *The Indian Express.*

Dubbed a power couple, the Indian Test captain and Bollywood A-lister started dating last year and are often seen together in public.

But when rumours of their impending wedding got a notch jucier, her publicist emailed an official statement for clarification: "There is no truth to the stories/rumours about Anushka Sharma’s impending wedding. Currently she is busy and happy with her work commitments. She has always been open about her life and would appreciate it and request everyone to wait for her to make announcements about her life instead of speculating.”

Perhaps some Kohli fans were expecting him to follow the footsteps of the bowler Harbhajan Singh who is all set to tie the knot tomorrow.

While star couples like Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif as well as Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra avoid talking about their relationships, Anushka Sharma is very candid about hers and doesn't shy away from cheering for Virat when he is out in the field.
