Priyanka Chopra's love and admiration for Meghan Markle is a public affair — she has voiced it repeatedly since she met the former Suits actor. Now that news of Meghan's engagement to Prince Harry has been made public by the Kensington Palace, PC couldn't be happier for her friend.

The Bollywood star shared a picture of the couple on Instagram and wrote a sweet note to her friend."Congratulations to my girl @meghanmarkle and Prince Harry!! I’m so happy for you Meg! You deserve the best always..keep smiling that infectious smile. Xoxo"

Kensington Palace's official announcement stated that the couple got engaged in London earlier this month and the wedding will take place in spring 2018.

Psst, according to Dailymail, Priyanka may just be one of the bridesmaids at the Royal wedding. Exciting much?

PC and Meghan met at a party in Toronto two years ago and have since become close friends.
