Sidharth Malhotra gets trolled for being the cringiest Pakistani stereotype in ‘spy thriller’ film Mission Majnu

It’s 2023 but Bollywood can’t seem to get over its lame stereotypes about Pakistanis. No, we don’t all greet each other by saying adaab but you wouldn’t be able to tell by watching Neflix India’s newest film Mission Majnu. Star Sidharth Malhotra has become the butt of everyone’s jokes with his black eyeliner, tawiz, stereotypical clothing and, of course, his adaab.

On Tuesday, the streaming site dropped the official trailer for Mission Majnu that features Malhotra as an Indian spy on a covert operation to expose nuclear weapons in the heart of Pakistan that India must “neutralise”. But the only thing that got “neutralised” on Twitter was the film’s storyline, costumes and dialogue.

Let’s just say, Pakistani Twitter is really over the “adaab” and janabs“ in the film.

Mission Majnu also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Parmeet Sethi, Bhumika Chawla, Sharib Hashmi and Arjan Bajwa. It will be made available to watch on Netflix on January 20 and we can’t wait to see what other idiotic representation of Pakistanis we have in store for us.
