Kubra Khan's moves land London Nahi Jaunga's 'Mahiya Ve Mahiya' on everyone's summer mehndi playlist
There is never too much where dance-y mehndi songs are concerned. Film London Nahi Jaunga has brought another one into the mix and Kubra Khan is ensuring you know how to vibe to 'Mahiya Ve Mahiya' with her dance moves.
The song was released on Saturday with the caption, "The grooviest dance song of this wedding season is finally here! Presenting Kubra Khan in the power-packed ‘Mahiya Ve Mahiya’, sung by the super talented Meesha Shafi and Shani Arshad."
Singer Shafi posted an Instagram story letting us know beforehand that her new song is a "chatpatta [spicy] one".
It features Khan in a blingy bright pink dress, embellished with gold sequins. The moment she ties her dupatta at her waist, you know it's about to go down. The next few minutes, it's just Khan and her dance moves taking it away. The depth in Shafi's voice carries the Punjabi song, turning it into a force that's sure to make you groove.
Actor Humayun Saeed also makes an appearance in the song and though he doesn't dance, there is some evident friction between his character and Khan's as she dances around him.
Actors Yumna Zaidi and Mahira Khan dropped down in the comments to let her know exactly what everyone else was thinking — that she's rocking it.
The film's cast includes Mehwish Hayat, Vasay Chaudhry, Gohar Rasheed, Saba Faisal, Asif Raza Mir and Salman Shahid. Saba Hameed and Sohail Ahmed of Punjab Nahi Jaungi will also be seen in the film.
