Actor Dua Malik is all set to host her first Ramazan show

Ramazan is just around the corner — which means we'll soon be watching television content related to the holy month. NewsOne's show Barkat e Ramzan will be hosted by actor and TV host Dua Malik.

Dua — who acted in A-Plus' 2018 drama serial Khafa Khafa Zindagi — will be hosting a Ramazan show for the very first time. In a comment to Images, Dua gave more details on the show. "It will start at 4pm and go on till iftar time," she said. "I'll hosting the show on my own.

"The first segment in the show will be on NGOs, including my own NGO Door To Life which will be promoted often. We're going to be helping people in the first segment. In the second one, we'll invite alim e deen [religious scholars] from Shia and Sunni communities to understand various deen [religion] related topics. Then we're going to have naat khwans [naat singers] for some remembrance of God. Then we'll prepare iftar — our Q&A session with the alims will go on as well — and the cooking will happen live on the show."

Dua is the sister of actors Humaima Malik and Feroze Khan. Apart from acting and TV hosting, she's always been interested in hypnosis and became a trained practitioner in hypnosis in 2019. She said she's been interested in hypnosis since she was young but she made the decision to seriously learn it after battling postpartum depression.
