In the mood for Punjabi hip hop? RFB and Jajji Jee's 'Pairi Kuri' might just be your jam

Risham Faiz Bhutta, or RFB as she likes to be known, is back with a new song in collaboration with singer Jajji Jee — a spunky Punjabi hip-hop track about a headstrong, unafraid woman.

'Pairi Kuri' was released on YouTube on March 4 and has been produced by Zahra Paracha, one half of the popular Birayni brothers duo.

Paracha took to social media and called 'Pairi Kuri' the most "bharamful hip-hop song" she could produce for RFB and Jajji Jee.

RFB shared shared a video of herself talking about 'Pairi Kuri' on social media with the caption, "This song is not only for one gender, it's for every single one of you. This song is on freedom, on confidence and on letting go. Live it and don’t care. When the world gives you tough times, just open your arms wide and take it all with a huge smile on your face. Because you’re way more strong than what the universe plans for you. Take it with wide arms and say 'is there more?'"

The song's music video has been produced by Sidrah Jamil and Drama Queen productions. It's been directed by Komal Ahmad.

Coke Studio's assistant producer Abdullah Siddiqiui seems to really like the song as well. He shared a snippet from ' Pairi Kuri's' music video on Instagram Stories and called it "so good".

RFB is known for her punk-goth-emo aesthetic when it comes to her music and has collaborated with many rising stars in the music scene. There’s her partnership with Hasan Raheem on 'Darr', with Rozeo on 'Fittay Mu' and with Rap Demon on 'Saan Ruk Janda'.

What are your thoughts on the song?
