Get ready, season 2 of Netflix drama Bridgerton is releasing on March 25

Are you ready to head back to Regency England? Season two of Netflix drama Bridgerton is almost here and it's all about courtship, drama, and the gossip paper run by Lady Whistledown. The last season focused on Daphne Bridgerton but this time it's her brother Anthony's time to be in the spotlight and search for his partner.

The upcoming season will be releasing on March 25 on Netflix.

The trailer for the second season of the show released on Monday and it seems Lady Whistledown, or shall we say Penelope Featherington, has her eyes on the residents of the countryside manors and there's no way she will miss out on any scandalous details. The mix of images in the trailer explores the chemistry between Anthony and newcomer Kate Sharma as they begin their tumultuous courtship.

We're definitely Simon and Daphne stans and our broken hearts are going to miss seeing the Duke of Hastings in season two. But that doesn't mean we won't watch the show.

The hit show is based on Julia Quinn’s Regency-era eight-novel series that explores the stories of each Bridgerton sibling and the social life of England's nobility. Quinn's novel The Viscount Who Loved Me will serve as inspiration for season two of the Shondaland production.

This season we will see Anthony, Kate and Siena Rosso, a woman whom the eldest Bridgerton sibling had a clandestine relationship with in season one. The Opera singer was spotted in the trailer, which means there will be drama, drama and drama!

Executive producer of the show, Shonda Rhimes, told Variety that the show "will go on for years". “There are eight Bridgerton siblings, and as far as I’m concerned, there are eight Bridgerton seasons, and maybe more,” she said.
