Imran Abbas only has good things to say about Sajal Aly, Ayeza Khan and showbiz's other leading ladies

Actor Imran Abbas was in a chatty mood today, inviting his Instagram followers to ask whatever their hearts desired in a fan Q&A session. The Q&A saw the actor spill his thoughts on many different things, but what piqued our interest were the glowing compliments he dished out to some of the actors he's worked with. Whether it was Ayeza Khan or Sajal Aly, the actor had nothing but good things to say about them all.

The Khuda Aur Muhabbat star recently went through the painful ordeal of losing his mother and his Q&A definitely reflected that.

The actor is still in grief, which is why he wasn't able to attend to actors Saboor Aly and Ali Ansari's wedding festivities. "I was formally invited to all the events but Saboor could understand and relate to [my] situation, that's why she politely said she won't force me [to come] if I am not feeling comfortable," he said.

Fans asked Abbas about some of the actors he's worked with in the past. He starred alongside Sajal Aly in the 2018 drama Noor ul Ain and shared how "she's my dearest friend with a heart of gold". "[Sajal Aly] is one of the finest [actors] we have," he said. "She literally texted and called me every other day to check up on how I am feeling after my mother's demise."

He also spoke about actor Sana Javed with whom he co-starred in the drama Darr Khuda Sey. "There is never a dull moment when I am with her," Abbas said.

When it came to Sanam Jung with whom Abbas worked in the drama Dil-e-Muztar, the actor gushed about his friendship with her.

Clearly his friendship with Ayeza Khan is strong as well. They both starred in the drama Tum Kon Piya in 2016.

Talking about other things, the actor revealed his favourite verses by poet Jaun Elia to his fans.

There are questions the actor likes to answer and there are those he doesn't.

He clearly has zero tolerance for gossip mongering and speculation as well. Abbas schooled a fan for asking an intrusive and personal question about actor Ahad Raza Mir.

We're glad to see Abbas's positive reflections of the actors he's worked with. It's always great to see stars building each other up. Here's to hoping he pushes past these difficult times after his mother's demise as well.
