Vin Diesel pens heartfelt note for Paul Walker on his 8th death anniversary

Actor Vin Diesel has a special message for his late friend and former Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker and his post will make you bawl. The action thriller stars started as co-stars and later developed an unbreakable bond that lasted until Walker passed away.

Eight years ago, Walker died in a tragic car accident on November 30, 2013. This year, on his eighth death anniversary, the F9 actor posted a sweet note for Walker and reminded fans to donate in the name of the deceased.

“It’s been eight years today... and not a day goes by that I don’t reflect of the brotherhood we were blessed to have... but you know that. Tragedies in life are always followed by life’s blessings if you just stay open and have faith. Look at this photo Pablo, it will make you smile,” Vin Diesel wrote with a photo of Meadow Walker as a bride accompanied by her maid of honour, Diesel’s daughter Pauline Sinclair.

Walker’s daughter appreciated Vin Diesel's post and reminded him how much he means to her. On her wedding in October, he took over the most important role by standing in the place of his pal and walked his daughter down the aisle.

Several other Fast & Furious costars also commented.

Vin Diesel also mentioned the incident when Walker was the only one that could guide him at the time of his daughter’s birth. “My children always tell me that uncle Paul is with you dad, always... and I know in my heart that they are right. Miss you Pablo,” he concluded.

On his eighth death anniversary, Walker's daughter also penned a few words to remember him.

Ludacris and Jordana Brewster promoted Walker’s foundation for goodwill as well.
