Bollywood actor Preity Zinta and husband welcome twins through surrogacy

Bollywood star Preity Zinta is a mother to two healthy twin babies! She and her husband, Gene Goodenough, recently welcomed their children via surrogacy, sharing the news on social media today.

"I wanted to share our amazing news with all of you today," wrote the Veer-Zaara actor on Instagram. "Gene and I are overjoyed, and our hearts are filled with so much gratitude and so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family."

"We are very excited about this new phase in our lives. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey."

According to Times of India, Zinta has been away from the silver screen ever since she tied the knot with Gene Goodenough in 2016. The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary earlier in March, on the occasion of which Zinta called her husband "the reason I look down at my phone and smile and then walk into a pole". Looks like these lovebirds were apart from each other at the time.
