Adele is ready to 'finally' drop her upcoming music album 30
British singer Adele finally let the world know the date she'll be releasing her upcoming album 30. She took to social media to make the announcement, further fuelling the hype surrounding her to-be released music.
The 33-year-old singer announced that her album 30 will be released on October 15. The announcement came with a message about the album in which the singer shared how she started working on it nearly three years ago. She described the journey as "a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil".
"I have learned a lot of blistering truths about myself along the way," she said. "I have shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I have finally found my feeling again. I'd go as far as to say that I have never felt more peaceful in my life."
The singer took a moment to thank a special friend as well. "That friend who, no matter what, checked in on me even though I'd stopped checking in with them because I'd become so consumed by my own grief," she wrote.
"I have painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it," she shared about 30.
Adele recently opened up about her personal life to Vogue as well, allowing fans a rare glimpse into her well guarded life, particularly her painful divorce with ex-husband Simon Konecki after a two-year marriage. She divulged the details shortly after announcing her intention to release new music.
