Jason Derulo is making jalebi on TikTok and Twitter doesn't know what to think

US singer Jason Derulo can make some pretty good jalebi for a non-desi person. And yes, you read that right. The 'Talk Dirty' and 'Swalla' singer showed off his skills in a recent TikTok video.

Derulo is quite the TikTok star, with 46.7 million followers on the app and makes all sorts of videos. In the video, he makes jalebi from scratch with a remix of the Bollywood song 'Jalebi Baby' by Tesher playing in the background. Derulo is featured on the remix.

This user shared the video on Twitter and wondered what was happening.

On TikTok, the video was captioned "for those of you still wondering what a jalebi is", and now has over 600,000 likes and almost 12,000 shares.

"Lol, what?" wondered this Twitter user.

While acknowledging the randomness of the video, this user felt it was a "a cool way to promo his version of 'Jalebi Baby'".

For some, it made their morning.

And quite a few users agreed that the jalebis turned out pretty great. Derulo sure seemed to enjoy them.

We aren't sure about the remix but Derulo sure does have good taste in desi sweets.
