Game of Thrones actor Esme Bianco sues Marilyn Manson for rape
Game of Thrones actor Esmé Bianco has sued American singer and songwriter Marilyn Manson for rape and sexual harassment, filing a lawsuit for using drugs, force, and threats of force to coerce her into performing sexual acts.
Manson's real name is Brian Hugh Warner. According to the lawsuit, "Mr Warner locked Ms Bianco in the bedroom, tied her to a prayer kneeler, and beat her with a whip that Mr Warner said was utilised by the Nazis. He also electrocuted her."
According to BBC, in February 2009, Manson invited her to Los Angeles to film a music video. But when Bianco arrived she says she found she was expected to stay at his home and there was no film crew. Bianco alleged she was deprived of food and sleep and given drugs and alcohol during her four-day stay.
In her complaint, she said Manson coerced her into sexual intercourse that was often violent and degrading, sometimes even when she was unconscious or otherwise unable to consent. "Mr Warner implied that because he had brought Ms Bianco to the United States and provided housing, she owed him labour and sexual intimacy," read the lawsuit.
“He also supplied drugs to Ms. Bianco and deprived her of sleep and food in order to weaken her physically and mentally and decrease her ability to refuse him. Mr. Warner committed sexual acts with Ms. Bianco when she was unconscious or otherwise unable to consent.” it read, adding that one on occasion, he chased her around the apartment with an ax, smashing holes in the walls.
“On another occasion, Mr. Warner cut Ms. Bianco with a Nazi knife during sex, without her consent, and photographed the cuts on her body. He then posted the photos online without her consent."
Manson has denied the accusations and claimed Bianco is trying to extort money from him.
“These claims are provably false,” Manson's lawyer said in a statement, as reported by Deadline. “To be clear, this suit was only filed after my client refused to be shaken down by Ms. Bianco and her lawyer and give in to their outrageous financial demands based on conduct that simply never occurred. We will vigorously contest these allegations in court and are confident that we will prevail.”
Bianco is one of the dozen women who spoke out against Manson's abuse this year. The duo began a consensual relationship in May 2009 and maintained a long-distance relationship until 2011. He then raped her in May of that year.
