Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for coronavirus
Wear your masks, the pandemic isn't over yet. People are still getting infected with the coronavirus and the latest celebrity to test positive is Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor.
His mother Neetu Kapoor, who had also tested positive for Covid-19 last year, confirmed the unfortunate news on social media, revealing that the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani actor was on medication and recovering well.
"Thank you for your concern and your good wishes," she began. "Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions."
A day earlier, Ranbir's uncle Randhir Kapoor spoke about his health to Pinkvilla. "I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town," he had said.
In the initial wave of the coronavirus, a lot of B-town actors had tested positive for the virus, including Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora and the Bachchan clan — of which Amitabh and Abhishek were hospitalised followed by Aishwariya and Aaradhya.
Rabir has multiple movies coming out this year, including Karan Malhotra’s period-action drama Shamshera and Ayan Mukerji’s action fantasy film Brahmastra alongside his ladylove Alia Bhatt.
