Clothing brand Daaman is permanently shutting down because of the pandemic

Your one-stop destination to shop all things casual/trendy, Daaman clothing was a local brand specialising in women’s wear in Pakistan.

However, like a lot of other businesses being hit by the global pandemic, especially after the months following the lockdown situation that resulted in great losses for markets, daily-wage earners as well as new ventures struggling to break through, the clothing brand, unfortunately, could not survive.

Taking to social media to announce this heartbreaking news, creative director Maleeha Chaudhry revealed the clothing stores will be shutting down, thanking customers for their love and appreciation over their journey.

"I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to let you know that we will be shutting down on 31st Dec 2020. Covid-19 has ravaged countries, families and businesses alike and unfortunately, Daaman is no exception. Thank you for all the love and appreciation over the years and I hope to see you in some form and at some point in the future. Our clearance sale commences today and will continue till stock lasts.”

While at present there is no saying what the future holds, we wish the best of luck to the entire team, hoping we can see them bounce back stronger and bigger in the near future.
