Sushant Singh Rajput's final film will release online
Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise has left a huge void within the lives of his friends, fans and family.
The Kai Po Che actor was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai, with the police ruling it a suicide.
Fans will be able to see him one last time as his upcoming film, Dil Bechara, which is the Bollywood adaptation of Hollywood hit The Fault In Our Stars, will be released on Hotstar for the audience, announced Filmfare.
The movie is Mukesh Chabra's directorial debut, and has been in the pipeline for release for some time. Chabra was reported to be close friends with Singh and the two regarded each other as brothers.
The movie stars Sanjana Sanghi alongside the late actor. Sanghi had expressed her dismay at the news of his tragic passing.
"We were to save all our anecdotes and stories from the time we spent shooting together up until the release of our film, so we kept them in our stomachs till now. After 2 years of seemingly all the possible difficulties one single film can face, with all sorts of crap constantly being written, and being relentlessly pursued - we were supposed to finally watch it together - my first, and what you told me you believed was your best film yet," she posted.
Sushant's last theatrical release was 2019's Chhichhore alongside Shraddha Kapoor. So far there is no release date for Dil Bechara.
