Abrar-ul-Haq responds to legal claim, says song Chamkeeli isn't insulting to anyone

Abrar-ul-Haq's latest track and music video 'Chamkeeli' has been taken to court for "being an insult to men and women."

Advocate Rana Adnan Asghar had filed a claim against the song, requesting to ban the track as according to him, "Men were humiliated by Abrar-ul-Haq on December 7... Not only men but women were also humiliated in the song."

The singer has submitted his response via his lawyer, Munawar Qasood in Civil Court in Lahore.

"No harm was done to men or women in this regard," said Qasood to the claims. "Legal requirements have been kept in violation of any law or values."

"Can't think about the humiliation of men or women. The blame is baseless," he added, requesting that the court reject this claim.

The court has summoned the lawyers for final debate on January 3.
