We watched the trailer for Christopher Nolan's Tenet and learned nothing new about the movie

Just so you know, it's okay to watch the trailer for Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie a couple of times and still not quite understand what's happening.

The filmmaker released the first look for Tenet and Nolan, who wrote and directed the flick is not giving away much.

We don't know who or what the protagonist played by John David Washington is. Is he a spy of some sort who's trying to stop World War III? Is he a time-traveler? Who knows. We did spot Dimple Kapadia though so there's that!

Expected from the man who's known for his flair for mystery.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Tenet is described as an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage and was filmed in seven countries, using a mix of Imax and 70mm film.

Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Kenneth Branagh round out the cast. Tenet is scheduled for release on July 17, 2020.
