Ali Sethi's new song featuring Faiz's poetry will take you down memory lane

Admit it, we're all fond of Ali Sethi's music videos: they're unique, artistic, and explore new aesthetic elements.

Dil Ki Khair is another such Ali Sethi song featuring Faiz Ahmed Faiz's poetry provided by the Faiz Foundation, the music video for which came out over the weekend:

The music video takes place at a party in Lahore and we're just thinking, why weren't we invited to this nostalgic and groovy soiree?

The clip is artsy, dark, and mesmerising and we spot some familiar faces, like his sister, Mira Sethi, actor Emmad Irfani and model Rehmat Ajmal to name a few; Sethi has termed it the "first-ever reggaeton ghazal".

The song is a recomposition of the Faiz Ahmed Faiz ghazal Dil ki Khair. It has been recomposed originally by Ali Sethi and he collaborated with Grammy award-winning producer, Noah Georgeson, who is known for the Narcos OST for the track.
