After successful two seasons, Netflix series, Money Heist released their third season yesterday.
Spoiler Alert
The third season began with Rio being captured by the police due to which gang finally reunites. The first episode ended with €140 million showering from the sky as a sign to let the public know that the gang is back. The professor further showed his face to the public in order to gain their trust and succeed in the mission.
The second episode of the new season is even more thrilling to watch because it features Pakistan!
We find out that a team of 65 members based in Islamabad is helping the Professor (Álvaro Morte) track the data the gang needs to win in the absence of Rio (Miguel Herrán).
One of the character's, Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), narrates, “With money to invest in R&D, you can achieve wonderful things. 3 weeks prior to the heist, we were inside both the CNI’s and the police’s mobile phone apps like WhatsApp."
“We can activate their microphones, cameras and GPS. It took less than an hour to take over the defense staff’s telecommunications. The work Rio used to do was now done by 65 Pakistanis. They are geniuses, thanks to them, we had access to everything.”
Here's how Pakistani Twitter users reacted:
While we were definitely excited initially, we have mixed feelings about this scene because come on, one man used to do the work that they now need 65 Pakistanis for? Give our hackers and their expertise some credit. Hey, at least, they called us 'geniuses'!
