Henry Cavill cast as Sherlock Holmes in movie about the detective's sister

Henry Cavill has done some iconic roles in his career so far and the actor can add another feather in his cap with his latest casting.

Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things fame had already been roped in to play the title character and Helena Bonham Carter will be playing Enola's mother. What a star cast!

And if that's not enough, ace television director Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) is on hand to direct the film.

The book series, Enola Holmes Mysteries revolves around Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes' much younger sister, Enola who surprises them with her investigative skills time and time again.
