5 quirky-cool Eid looks that'll make you wish you wore them first
Let's face it, sometimes Eid celebrations can get a little... predictable. Every year you have the sheer khurma, the mithai, the diminishing amount of Eidi in your envelope...
Which is why it's always fun to shake things up on the fashion front, or at least to live vicariously through people who are brave enough to do wear something other than a pretty three-piece jora.
This Eid we spotted 5 looks that we wish we would've worn first.
1. Eman Suleman's workwear-inspired sari
We have a weakness for saris on Eid, and this casually cool ensemble gets full marks. Don't miss the matte white bangles. Ugh, perfection!
2. Iqra Aziz's blingy tunic with a white shalwar
An upgraded version of our national staple, the colourful kameez with a white shalwar! This outfit has enough going on to be formal but also, looks like it's super comfortable. Win.
3. Zara Noor Abbas' gota with a twist
The actress mixes a printed shalwar blinged out with gota work with a plain shirt. It's an upside-down version of a classic desi ensemble, and we like.
4. Rabia Butt's red-hot ensemble
The colour is enough to warrant a mention, not too many would choose bright red in this scorching heat but it's a great way to make a statement. We love her beauty look even more than her outfit... make a note, when you're wearing a power colour like red, everything else from the hair to makeup should look oh-so-perfectly undone.
Zara Peerzada's fuschia eye shadow
Enough said.
