Pakistani recreational theme park Fun City wins big at the MENALAC Awards 2019

Fun City, an indoor amusement facility based in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, recently won the ‘Best Family Entertainment Centre’ award at the 2nd MENALAC awards held in Dubai, UAE.

The awards held at the Ritz Carlton DIFC on March 26th, 2019 celebrated the leisure and entertainment industry of the Middle East and North Africa and rewarded excellence, outstanding performance and achievements in various facets of the industry.

The Pakistani recreational theme park won the honour over 200 leisure and entertainment companies participating from the region, including brand maestros like Ferrari World, Warner Bros, Magic Planet, Landmark Leisure and more.

With the MENALAC award under its belt, Fun City has become the first facility of its kind in Pakistan to receive international recognition.

The indoor amusement facility aims to provide safe and high quality recreation based on European standards to people of all ages. Its futuristic and detail oriented interior sets it apart from others in the industry in Pakistan.

“It is a proud moment not just for the company but also for Pakistan,” shared Kashif Ali, the managing director of Fun City.

“Having opened our first center in 2013 at Centaurus Mall, Islamabad and another in 2017 at Giga Mall, Islamabad, it has been a really successful and rewarding journey so far. We were up against strong competition but still won the award which is a huge achievement." he added.
