Prince Harry and Meghan Markle break Guinness World Record with new Instagram account

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making some serious waves on social media.

The royal couple made their joint Instagram debut with an official account @SussexRoyal on Tuesday, April 2 and got a million followers in the first six hours of opening their account!

According to Guinness World Records, their account is now the fastest on Instagram to do so!

By the end of day one, they were at 3 million and had shared just two posts. On Saturday morning, they were up to 4 followers — and counting.

Meghan relinquished her social media presence over a year ago. On this new Instagram account, she and Harry will share both their work and their personal moments, according to a royal source.

While they've so far kept to posting a few of their favourite photos of their work, we guess we know where to expect pictures of royal baby once it arrives this month.
