Muneeb Butt and Ayeza Khan will star in upcoming drama Hum Ke Thehre Ajnabi

Baandi actor Muneeb Butt is set to star with Ayeza Khan for his next drama.

The drama, titled Hum Ke Thehre Ajnabi after the ghazal by Faiz Ahmed Faiz, will be a love story.

"Apart from me and Ayeza, the drama will star Momal Sheikh and Junaid Khan in prominent roles. It also stars Shagufta Ejaz and Mehmood Aslam from Bulbulay. It will be directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain."

Muneeb's character is named Umair and Ayeza's, Zobi.

Muneeb revealed the story to revolve around a misunderstanding: "Momal and Ayeza play sisters and Junaid is getting married to Momal while I'm in love with Ayeza. There is a misunderstanding that ends the nikkah between Junaid and Momal and my character is being blamed for it. So it's a love story at the core which will show a lot of different things along the way."

The drama does not have a release date at the moment but Hum Ke Thehre Ajnabi will run on Geo TV.
