Wajahat Rauf's next film will star Mehwish Hayat and Zara Noor Abbas

Karachi Se Lahore director Wajahat Rauf revealed today that he's wrapped up the first spell of shooting for his next film!

While he says close to nothing about this project, he has confirmed that Mehwish Hayat and Zara Noor Abbas are starring in it. "What a pleasure it has been working these the two brilliant actresses," he wrote on Instagram.

Mehwish Hayat is the female lead of Rauf's just released web series Enaaya and has hit films like Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani to her credit. Zara Noor Abbas will make her film debut with Asim Raza's Parey Hut Love.

At present, it's not clear whether Rauf is referring to Karachi Se Lahore 3 in this announcement or whether this this film is a completely different project. In any case, KSL 3 will be different from its predecessors as the director said the "road trip has ended" but promised "non-stop entertainment" nonetheless.
