Anil Kapoor celebrates his birthday by releasing new poster for his upcoming film

Anil Kapoor turns 62 today and among the many birthday wishes and festivities, the actor did something extra to celebrate his big day.

Kapoor took to social media to share the latest poster for his upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, where he will be starring alongside his daughter Sonam Kapoor.

The poster shows him with Sonam Kapoor, as both play father and daughter in the film as well.

According to Times Now, "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga; the title might remind you of the hit Anil Kapoor song from his movie 1942: A Love Story where he sung it for Manisha Koirala but this upcoming film is going to be high on emotions with the tables turning around...with the father convincing his daughter to accept his love story."

The teaser came out in July, showing the contrast between the two films.

Sonam Kapoor also took to social media to share a loving message to her father for his birthday.

Says Sonam in the post, "Happy happy birthday Dad... this has been a momentous year for both of us. For the first time in 10 years of being in this industry I shared a frame with you and was your costar. And you also had to see me get married... all this was a complete roller coaster... hard and beautiful at the same time... I’m thankful for the teachings of love, progressive ideals and morals that have been a part of my upbringing , and each year I realise more and more what a gift that is in this day and age... love you so much."

Ek Larki ko Dekha toh Aisa Laga, also starring Juhi Chawla, will release on February 1, 2019.
