Elon Musk is apparently a fan of Bajirao Mastani

Tech entreprenuer Elon Musk caused a tizzy on Twitter when he showed some love for the all-star Bollywood epic movie Bajirao Mastani yesterday.

While Musk chose to tweet out a GIF of Ranveer dancing to 'Malhaari', the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film also starred Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.

The film follows the romance between Maratha general, Baji Rao I (Ranveer), and Mastani, princess of Bundelkhand (Deepika). The 2015 film won nine Filmfare awards and seven National awards in India, but only just caught the attention of the Tesla founder.

Musk's tweet racked up likes and retweets in the thousands and streaming platform Eros Now did not miss the opportunity to inform him that the film is available on their platform for digital viewing.

True to his nature, Musk has not elaborated on his tweet and we will never know why Bajirao Mastani moved him so much.
