Nadia Khan's new TV project is a game show where you can win diamonds or a Mercedes

Known for her stint as a morning show host, Nadia Khan has been seen acting in TV dramas of late. However, now she's returned to home territory with another hosting stint.

This time, however, Khan can be seen on Bol Entertainment as the host of game show Croron Main Khel.

She explains the concept behind the show, "Instead of having people play games, we'll ask contestants to answer questions, show their knowledge. The idea is to encourage people to study, to make an effort. They will be expected to prepare for the show auditions using the material available on the Bol app and website."

She also adds that the show isn't like the popular Kaun Banega Crorepati. "We'll be giving various prizes instead of cash," she explained. "And the questions will be related to Pakistan as well as international news and current affairs." Prizes range from smart phones, laptops and home appliances like a washing machine to diamond and gold jewellery and even a Mercedes or a bungalow!

The show kicked off on Thursday with a celebrity episode featuring Reema Khan. The show will open to contestants from the general public in some episodes.

"The best part of the show is that my viewers will get to interact with me. I've been doing morning shows for so long but never had to interact with them on a one-to-one basis on the sets or stage. So this is what will make it special for me."

"Pakistan really enjoys game shows and everyone loves to win. But our game show requires people to show their smarts. That's what makes it different," she concludes.

Croron Main Khel airs twice a week on Bol Entertainment.
