Sania Mirza goes on social media hiatus to avoid trolls during today's PakvsInd match

No stranger to Twitter trolls, Sania Mirza is preemptively going off social media ahead of the PakvsInd match today to avoid the onslaught of negative comments directed at her whenever the two countries face off in the cricket field.

The Indian tennis player, who is married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, regularly receives unwarranted comments about her nationality — some say she's not Indian enough (because she married a Pakistani), others insist she's Pakistani now (to the point that Sania has had to defend her Indian nationality).

This time, she's decided to not even bother to engage with them:

Sania predicts that the "nonsense that's going to be said here can make a ‘regular’ person sick, let alone a pregnant one" and ends with a friendly reminder that the match is just a game.

We hope the trolls are listening.
