Alia Bhatt will finally be working with Mahesh Bhatt

Ever since Alia Bhatt has entered Bollywood and taken it by storm, people have wondered when she'll work with her father, director and producer Mahesh Bhatt.

Filmfare is now reporting that Alia has given the nod to appearing in Sadak 2. The sequel will star Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt, recreating their lead roles from the original and Alia will also be playing a titular character.

This marks the first venture where Mahesh Bhatt will direct his younger daughter. Sadak 2 is being produced by Alia’s uncle, Mukesh Bhatt.

Speaking of Sadak 2 earlier, Mahesh Bhatt had revealed that Dutt will be playing the same role he played 34 years ago; now, the character will be shown in the 21st century with different circumstances.

Alia has some of her biggest projects lined up like Brahmastra, Gully Boy, Takht and Kalank to name a few.
