Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan make it to Forbes highest paid actors list

Bollywood's Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan have ranked among the top 10 spots of Forbes' 2018 list of the world's highest paid actors.

Akshay Kumar ranked number seven with earnings of $40.5 million. During the past few years, his focus has switched to socially conscious films like Toilet - a film about India's sanitation problem and Padman based on a true story about a man who introduced low-cost sanitary pads to his hometown.

Salman Khan ranked at number nine with earnings of $38.5 million, owing to movies like 2017's Tiger Zinda Hai.

The highest paid actor list was topped by the likes of George Clooney, The Rock and Robert Downey Jr.
