12 outtakes from Reham Khan's controversial tell-all

Yesterday Reham Khan caused a stir as she announced her hotly anticipated biography was available for purchase.

As she made the announcement, copies of her book were already beginning to circulate online, with many taking to social media to reveal the more shocking pronouncements she made in the book.

As quotes from the book began circulating, commentators on social media began calling the book out for containing false representations of people and events. Some also criticised the book for going too far and violating the privacy of those mentioned.

Reham on politics within the PTI:

"Shah Mehmood Qureshi was seen by the majority of Insafians and locals in his home constituency of Multan as useless, but he was adored by his female followers. He was seen as someone who had much influence, which was fairly accurate, as Imran hated him and ridiculed him in private. Jahangir Tareen, on the other hand, had serious influence. Everyone knew Imran would violate every rule in the book for him."

"Everything in the house was paid for by others: the dates, cows, goats, cars, petrol, salaries, hundreds of trees, and even the construction work. We had wondered why he [Imran] did not notice Rawalpindi being wiped out in the local bodies, until I discovered Bani Gala was kept green by the likes of Amir Kiyani... over 500 trees were delivered regularly to the property by the Senior Vice President of the PTI, the man in charge of giving out the tickets... Imran's paradise was fare more important than the hell Rawalpindi's people were living in."

"There was another lobby which Imran was seemingly not conscious of. It was covertly and remotely led by Asad Umar, and the operatives on the ground were Shireen Mazari and Naeem ul Haq... On her relationship with Imran Khan:

"Was I in love? The short answer is no. I wasn't in love with Imran, at this point at least... But I was definitely getting attached to him, and I would be lying if I said it didn't affect me."

"For the first few days, he kept asking me: 'Do you love me as much as I love you, Reham?' I gave him an honest response: 'Imran, I love you more with every passing day.' It may have started with his relentless pursuit, but I grew to love him as I loved my children."

On her divorce from Imran Khan:

"Throughout the marriage, anchors would contact anyone who claimed they knew me from England and try to dig up dirt on me. As soon as the divorce was announced, the anchors who had led the campaign against me were seen being received by Imran as honoured guests for the grand opening of SKMT Peshawar."
