Actor Zara Noor Abbas calls out models for mocking her at fashion week
Zara Noor Abbas has no time for shade.
The actor walked the ramp for Fnk Asia at Fashion Week Pakistan and she was definitely energetic.
This wasn't the first time the Khamoshi actor has walked the ramp but it was the first time she got noticed for her energy. To the point that a few models had a laugh at her expense... and made a video about it. A video that made its way across social media. Yikes.
Zara found out about the video and posted it on her own Instagram account. Yeah, she did that!
The actor was very careful with her words though! Clapping back while being a good sport about it, she didn't shy away from calling the models out for their mockery, saying, "Women don’t build women. They bash each other like this. It’s so sad for all the people who are trying to empower women. They don’t know that it is the women who don’t let each other grow."
Talking about her walk, she said, "I am an actor, not a model. I can't even imagine being a model. It is so effortlessly amazing and tiring at the same time. But as an entertainer, it is my job to entertain my audiences."
She further explained that since her look was titled 'Warrior princess' she wanted to bring that attitude in her walk.
"That is why designers choose actors as showstoppers for their walks. To add more drama. Some liked it, some didn't."
She signed off with love, "But anyway, all the best for tonight. Run the world, girls!"
Zara got a lot of support on her post, including her husband Asad Siddiqui and fellow celebs, Kubra Khan and Sonia Mishal.
