Saba Qamar's Hindi Medium breaks Indian film records in China

Saba Qamar has all the reason to be proud and hold her head high.

The Pakistani actor's Bollywood debut Hindi Medium, which has recently been screening in China, broke all Hindi cinema records in the country.

Within the first weekend of its screening, the Irrfan, Saba starrer raked in INR138.42 crore, making it the highest opening for a Hindi film in China. It has broken records of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which collected INR12.99 crore and Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan that made INR14.61.

Directed by Saket Chadhury, Hindi Medium follows the journey of two parents who want their daughter to get the education they could not afford to have.

According to latest reports, there will be a sequel to the film; unfortunately we won't be seeing Saba Qamar in it.
