Asim Raza and Mahira Khan reunite for upcoming rom-com

It's been more than two years to Ho Mann Jahaan and director Asim Raza is set for his second shot at silver screen magic.

And he's relying on his favourites, Mahira Khan and Sheheryar Munawar who also appeared together in his debut film, for his next titled Paray Hat Luv.

"Truly humbled by the resounding success of Ho Mann Jahaan, The Vision Factory Films is fully geared to embark upon its next feature film project of Parey Hat Luv," said Asim Raza.

He added, "We look to bring to the audiences a production that is young, fresh, vivacious and visually magnetic. The content of the film is engaging and the canvas is larger and vibrant. We expect, that after Ho Mann Jahaan, we will give audiences a film even better in the form of Parey Hat Luv."

About the plot, he said, "Parey Hat Luv is a contemporary romantic comedy primarily set in Pakistan and Europe. The basic premise of the film is an unlikely romance between a young free-willed, commitment phobic man and a beautiful, strong-willed woman as they happen to meet and fall in love over a series of unplanned encounters."

"The story plays on an underlying fear of today’s generation; committing to anything in life. Written by the seasoned writer, Imran Aslam, the story promises to be a two-hour journey of romance, emotion, drama and witty puns."

Will Mahira and Sheheryar's star power be all to look forward to? Not at all, as the director reveals that the cast includes Nadeem Baig, Hina Dilpazeer, Ahmed Ali Butt, Zara Noor Abbass, Rachel Viccaji and many more.

Sheheryar Munawar will also be producing the film and for the music, Asim says, "The music director is Azaan Sami Khan and renowned singers who will do playback singing."

Parey Hut Luv is slated for release on Eid-ul-Azha 2019.
