James Bond's getting hitched: Plot allegedly leaked for upcoming 007 flick

Sources close to production of the next James Bond film claim 007 will be tying the knot and settling down.

Page Six reported that an anonymous source has claimed that "Bond quits the secret service, and he’s in love and gets married,"

The alleged plot leak comes just weeks after Daniel Craig announced that he would be returning to play the secret agent for the 25th film in the franchise, written by Bond screenwriters Robert Wade and Neal Purvis.

A Hollywood insider with knowledge of the film apparently stated, “Bond quits the secret service, and he’s in love and gets married” in the movie currently dubbed Bond 25. Later in the story, “his wife then gets killed,” which forces him back into action, the desire to avenge her death.

Although not much is known about the film officially otherwise, this unnamed source has claimed it will show Bond happily hitched to Madeleine Swann, the character played by Léa Seydoux in 2015's Spectre.

This follows a string of other links associated with the film. Last month, the Mirror reported that "the film has the working title Shatterhand," and that the plot will see Bond travel to Croatia to come face to face with a super-villain.

The 25th Bond film is slated for release in cinemas on November 8, 2019.
