There are a few old dinosaurs left and I think Trump is one of them: Helen Mirren
Helen Mirren has a reputation for being honest.
Nothing is off the table for discussion, including the current messy realm of US politics; the actress recently opened up to Allure for a cover story, reports Harper's Bazaar.
In the interview, where she expands on her outlook on life and ageing, Mirren was questioned about First Lady Melania Trump, and First Daughter Ivanka Trump — and as usual, she didn't hold back.
Speaking about the now-viral clip of Melania (seemingly) slapping away Donald Trump's hand while on a tour of Israel, Mirren said: "You look at old Mel there, and she is one of the most powerful women in the world because she could take him down."
"She almost did that with the hand. [She mimics Trump] 'Don't touch me.' I'm Eastern European, you know; [we've] got these dark souls," she explained. "That dark Slovenian soul is about to come out."
Mirren is just as unforgiving when Ivanka Trump comes up.
"[Ivanka] talks a good game, but there's no substance. Her book (Women Who Work) is so ignorant about how the majority of women live, talking about 'Make time for yourself to have a massage.' Puh-lease."
As for Mr President himself?
She unapologetically reveals: "There are a few old dinosaurs left, and I think Mr. Trump is one of them."
Another observation she made is that Trump has an "enormous body" and a "small head."
