The trailer for Saba Qamar's Bollywood debut is out!
Irrfan Khan took to his Facebook and shared the trailer for upcoming Hindi Medium alongside the Pakistani actor.
The plot follows the journey of two parents who want their daughter to get the education they could not afford to have. The trailer reveals the comical role of Saba Qamar and Irrfan as they do whatever it takes to get their daughter into a prestigious school.
While the trailer is full of comedy, we see some dark truths as Saba Qamar's character points out the double standards of society and being othered for not being able to speak fluent English.
Saba Qamar's Bollywood debut promises to deliver a powerful message about classism in India and its relation to the English language while staying on a considerable light note. The Digest writer actor pairs well with Irrfan, who is adorable to watch in the trailer, especially when he's dancing with children!
