This season's must-have accessories, according to Pakistani lawn ads

Love it or hate it, you can't escape lawn fever.

Yep, it's that time of the year, when we lose all rational thinking and stampede through stores, shoving whoever gets in our way to get our hands on the latest lawn designs.

A quick glance at the lawn catalogues littering our office revealed some fascinating accessories trends that lawn adverts apparently want to catch on. Get on the bandwagon before it's too late!

An obscenely large dog

The folks at Farah Talib Aziz and Elan are taking the phrase 'dogs are a man's best friend' quite seriously. Get yourself a big, fluffy dog — all the cool kids seem to have one!

Guess we're still big on fur this season. (From L-R: Farah Talib Aziz and Elan 2017 campaign)

A camel

You know, for if you're not a dog person...

Lawn ads are big on animals it seems (Ayesha Omar poses with her new friend for Crimson x Saira Shakira)

"Exotic" kids

Better find yourself a non-desi husband, quick!

Motherhood never looked so good (Elan's 2017 campaign)

A Chinese hand fan

'Cos what better way to beat the Karachi heat, right?

Damn you, K-Electric! (Also Elan; they're quite the trailblazers!)

A boat

Handy for monsoon season.

Zara Shahjahan's already prepping for rainfall

A matador

Some women have bodyguards, others have matadors.

Because you never know when a bull can come charging at you; props to Elan for being safe than sorry!

Lace/leather gloves

Could also moonlight as driving gloves; a double win for the germophobe!

Don lace during the day while leather's more appropriate for night time (Imaan Madni for Farah Talib Aziz)

Ladders

Now you can literally climb your way to success.

Though it's a tad unclear where these lead... (From L-R: Sadaf Kanwal for Khaadi and Amna Babar for Sana Safinaz)

Suitcases

Useful for lugging around all these accessories wherever you go.

Also for when you want to fly off to shoot in some foreign location (Sana Safinaz lawn campaign 2017)
