Maryam Nawaz says Punjab is establishing a 50-acre 'film city' to bring the glory of filmmaking back to Lahore
The Punjab CM announced that the film city will have special facilities to enable most filmmaking processes to be done in-house.
The Pakistan Film Festival New York kicked off with a grand red carpet reception on Friday and followed it up with the screening of some Pakistan's most-loved movies, including Mehreen Jabbar's Dobara Phir Se and Nabeel Qureshi's Actor In Law.

It looked like Actor In Law was well-received. Director Nabeel Qureshi was in high spirits after the screening and got silly on stage with his friend, Mawra Hocane.
Both took to the streets after!
Nab Qur took a good old fashioned walk.
Mawra, on the other hand, practised her cab-hailing skills to get a taste of the NY experience.

Looks like people had a questions from the Dobara Phir Se crew! The littlest cast member Musa had lots to say.
Then, the woman-of-the-moment Mehreen Jabbar took the mic.
Meanwhile, in the midst of orchestrating this two-day festival, Frieha Altaf found time for some self-admiration.
On Day 2 of PFFNY (that is, today), scheduled screenings include Dukhtar and Lahore Se Aagey.
