Missed Mahira-starrer Bin Roye on the big screen? Its TV version will be out soon

Missed Bin Roye on the big screen? You can soon catch the Mahira-starrer on television, as its TV drama version is set to air soon.

The HUM TV film, directed by Momina Duraid and Shehzad Kashmiri, was produced with the aim of later airing it as a TV drama from the get-go.

In the Bin Roye film, Saba (Mahira Khan) is madly in love with her cousin Irtiza (Humayun Saeed). But he fails to register her hints and on a trip to the US, promptly proceeds to fall in love with another cousin, Saman (Armeena Rana Khan). The story veers into complicated twists and turns and there are plenty of tears and heartbreak leading up to the final ‘happily ever after’.

Now, the time has come to view the same film in episodic snippets. A musical teaser for the drama version has been released:

Bin Roye writer Farhat Ishtiaq also revealed on Twitter that the drama serial is due to air very soon:

As Udaari airs its 21st episode on Sunday, it appears to enter the tail end of its storyline with less than nine episodes to go.

Will Bin Roye secure a drama hatrick for Mahira, whose earlier projects Humsafar and Sheher-e-Zaat were big hits? We'll have to wait to find out.
