Deepika wants Fawad Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next

It was inevitable. They each went down on one knee for each other, they were paired for Manish Malhotra's runway collection, and they went on a secret getaway to Barcelona... pyaar toh hona hi tha.

Okay, we'll stop being filmi. But according to Pinkvilla, Deepika wants the Pakistani charmer to be cast alongside her in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next venture Padmavati and she's spoken directly to the director about it.

The publication quoted a source close to Bhansali who said, "As of now, Deepika is the only one who is confirmed for the film. She has told Mr. Bhansali that Fawad is the perfect fit for both the male characters in the film."

Whether it's happening or not, only time will tell, as for now, we're just excited to see how close the actor has become with all his Bollywood co-stars.

Fawad Khan will be seen in Karan Johar's upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and Anushka Sharma as well as Pakistani actor Imran Abbas. The film is set for release Oct 7th.
