Will 'Noor' do justice to 'Karachi, You're Killing Me'? Writer Saba Imtiaz weighs in
Saba Imtiaz dwells on whether Bombay can be the setting for her Karachi-based novel
What happens when Bollywood picks up a Pakistani novel for inspiration? We'll soon find out.
Noor, the Sonakshi Sinha-starrer that is based on Saba Imtiaz's novel Karachi You're Killing Me, is set to release in cinemas on April 7 next year, reports Indian Express.
The film follows a 20-something reporter Noor Choudhary as she navigates through misadventures in her love and work life. While the novel is set in Karachi, the film relocates its protagonist to Mumbai.
Noor also stars Purab Kohli, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar's Airlift. It is being directed by Sunhil Sippy, who makes his debut in mainstream cinema with this film.
