Arjun Kapoor starts shooting for Chetan Bhagat's Half Girlfriend

Chetan Bhagat is more or less the Nicholas Sparks of India; needless to say, we're excited about Half Girlfriend, his first movie as a producer, which is also based on his novel of the same name.

The upcoming flick is being directed by Mohit Suri and features Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in leading roles. As shooting kicks off, we get a sneak peek at Arjun's character in the movie, Madhav.

In the novel, Madhav is a good basketball player – which is how he gets to attend a prestigious private college, where he meets his "half girlfriend."

The Ki and Ka actor has also previously appeared in another film adaptation of one of Bhagat's novels, 2 States

One thing's for sure; Arjun definitely knows his way around the court, if the teaser is any indicator.
